Even if Supreme Court’s decision goes against government on petition filed against trials of civilians in military courts, no one will accept it. Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, while giving an interview to Anchor Person Hamid Mir in Geo News program Capital Talk, said that “The law already exists. We have not made any new laws. Khawaja Mohammad Asif said, “Why didn’t they take up this law first? All those who go to the Supreme Court or sit there, have political goals. They say in Punjabi, “This is a complete cancellation. No.”

Anchor person Hamid Mir asked, from your words, it seems that if the Supreme Court gives such a decision, you people will not accept it. Khawaja Asif said, “We will see when this opportunity comes.” When that bridge comes in front of us, we will cross that bridge, God willing.”

Similarly, while giving an interview to anchor person Kamran Shahid in the program of Dunya News Channel, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Irfan Qadir, said that Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, who was formed from the bench related to military courts, did not do any illegal work by separating himself from the bench. did not Because this bench itself was illegal. The Chief Justice had made the matter controversial by constituting a wrong bench.

Irfan Qadir said that the newly appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Qazi Faiz Isa has declared the bench illegal. Even if such a bench gives a decision, it is not a problem for us to ignore it.

Describing the Chief Justice as the de facto Chief Justice, Irfan Qadir said that the present Chief Justice has no status. We did not obey the decision of 14th May and still, we will not follow any illegal decision.

It should be remembered that while issuing a written order to hear the petition against the trial of civilians in military courts yesterday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued notices to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Defense Minister, Interior Minister, Attorney General, and other parties including Imran Khan.

Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Umar Atta Bandial, started the hearing of the case at 11:45 am yesterday, however, at the beginning of the hearing, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood separated themselves from the bench. After which the bench was broken.

Later, Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial constituted a 7-member bench to hear the petitions filed against the trials of civilians in military courts, which further heard the case.
