Senate Chairman Election Under Spy Cameras & Trolling

The presence of alleged ‘spy cameras’ over the polling booth for the election for Senate chairman and deputy chairman became an apple of discord between the government and opposition and members from both sides trolled each other.

The alleged ‘spy cameras’ were spotted over the polling booth in the Senate when newly-elected lawmakers sworn in on Friday.

Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Musadik Malik of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) found the camera and questioned their installation at a sensitive spot on the polling day.

However, Federal Science Minister Fawad Chaudhry took to his Twitter to address both Senators to edify them about ‘spy cameras’ and told it was a CCTV camera installed at the wrong location.

And Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar started ransacking the House to find ‘spy cameras’ and showed one to Fawad as well.

The minister also asked the related officials to do it at the earliest as both lawmakers may uproot entire wiring of CCTV cameras in the Senate.

PTI Senator Barrister Ali Zafar said that the matter should be investigated.

The polling for the Senate chairman and deputy chairman will start at 3 pm.
