Gill Greeted With Eggs, Ink by PML-N Indicates New War
Today’s incident with Shahbaz Gill indicates the war between PTI and PML-N has gone beyond words
Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill was welcomed with ink and eggs by PML-N supporters on reaching Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday.
Even though Shahbaz claimed he was informed by journalist friends about a possible ambush by PML-N goons, he decided to take challenge and reached the high court.
Gill said he would PML-N’s hoodlums were awaiting him at LHC, but he would still go there.

PML-N workers pelted eggs and thrown ink at Gill. The perpetrators were beaten by aggravated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers. However, the police intervened to save them.
Justifying the act, PML-N worker said Gill had spewed derogatory remarks against his leaders.
Last week, PML-N leaders had a scuffle with PTI workers who had gathered outside the Parliament House on the day Imran Khan took the trust vote from the national assembly (NA).
A worker had also hurled a shoe at PML-N’s leader Ahsan Iqbal while other leaders had a scuffle with PTI stalwarts.
