Sindh Govt Expands With Makeshift Vaccination Centers

The government has established makeshift vaccination centers at Dolmen Mall in the Clifton area and Lucky One Mall on Rashid Minhas Road

Sindh government has taken the initiative of setting up makeshift vaccination centers in public as well as private sites to ensure every citizen is timely vaccinated. 

The centers were inaugurated by Sindh Health Secretary Kazim Jatoi who toured the newly-established facilities and assured that the people visiting there would get the best service.

Sindh government has established makeshift vaccination centers at Dolmen Mall in the Clifton area and Lucky One Mall on Rashid Minhas Road.

Addressing media, the health secretary said, “The shopping mall management have been provided with a single dose of the PakVac vaccine”.

In addition to it, Jatoi commanded the management to immunized employees in the first phase while the second phase will be dedicated to employees’ families and the third will cater to customers.

Sindh health secretary said, “All industrialists and traders should vaccinate their staff on priority”.

“Getting the coronavirus vaccine jab is essential for everyone to conduct business activities safely, therefore, all industrialists should vaccinate their staff,” he commented.

Although some 70,000 people are getting vaccine jabs on daily basis in the province, the government aims to vaccinate 200,000 people per day, he added.

Other than shopping malls, the facilities have been established at Sindh Secretariat, Karachi Press Club (KPC), Karachi Arts Council, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) etc.

During the meeting of National Coordination Committee (NCC), Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the province was following the federation’s vaccination policy.
