After months of wait, Karachi witnessed a few hours of rain, and the newly-appointed Administrator Murtaza Wahab came into action as he visited different areas to review the situation of the metropolitan city.
The heavy rain drowned the city and caused waterlogging and traffic jams in several areas.
Taking notice of the rain ravages, Murtaza Wahab visited Teen Talwar, Cantt Station, Metroville, Burns Road, Regal Chowk, and MA Jinnah Road.
He also toured Hyderi, Nagan Chowrangi, Sakhi Hassan, Tariq Road, Drigh Road, and Tipu Sultan Road.

During his visit, the Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) managing director (MD) and administrative officials also accompanied him.
Murtaza Wahab, who assumed charge as the new administrator of Karachi in August, updated the current situation of the city through his Twitter handle.
While overseeing the drainage and traffic operations, he directed all districts’ administrations to remain active and vigilant.

Moreover, he directed the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) officials to take immediate steps for the siphoning off water from the roads so the citizens don’t face any inconvenience.
