Mysterious fire at Mehdi Tower after Portway Trade Center on Shahrah Faisal Karachi

A fire broke out in the Mehdi Tower located on Shahrah Faisal, the busiest road in Karachi, while earlier a building named Portway Trade Center near the same building also caught fire.
Incidents of fire in commercial, and residential buildings and markets are becoming common in Karachi, but the inability of the provincial government and other district administrative bodies to control the fire in a timely manner is becoming a tragedy.
A fire broke out in Mehdi Tower located on Shahrah Faisal. The fire on the second floor engulfed the entire building, but all the people in the building were safely evacuated.

According to fire brigade officials, the fire in Mahdi Tower on Faisal Road in Karachi has been brought under control, but the cooling process is ongoing. Officials said that a snorkel and three fire tenders took part in the rescue operation.
Fire brigade officials said that all the people in the building have been rescued safely. According to the authorities, four floors of the building were affected by the fire. The offices on the four floors have also been damaged.
It should be remembered that on March 12 last month, a fire broke out in a 16-storey building called Portway Trade Center located near Mehdi Tower. The most severe fire had burnt the entire building across the bridge.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tasuri said in his statement that it is very important to investigate whether it is an accident or a conspiracy, but no report has come out in this regard so far.
More than 12 fire tenders, 2 snorkels, 2 water bowsers, and several water tankers took part in the operation to control the fire at the Portway Trade Center located near the PSO petrol pump.
