The bill that was submitted by MMA brought a bummer for PPP and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari had to step in for elucidation.
Leena Ghani, a social activist who was previously very active against Ali Zafar, posted on social media against the Sindh government.
“Will the Sindh Govt provide the newlyweds with housing? Allowance? Health insurance? Travel? Jobs after graduation? Childcare? Are they both supposed to be 18? Or does the Bill suggest the girl can be 12-18?”, she wrote.
To which, Bakhtawar Bhutto replied that the bill wasn’t proposed by PPP but by a Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) MPA.
