Speeding Car Trampled NHA Official on Motorway
The victim was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar as he sustained serious head injuries
A speeding car ran over a National Highway Authority (NHA) official near Peshawar toll plaza owing to which the victim sustained serious head injuries.
The suspect, later identified as Junaid Ateeq, was traveling to Peshawar via motorway.
The closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage obtained by News360 showed that NHA Medical Helper Adeel Ali Shah signaled the vehicle to stop near a picket but it trampled him.
The officials said that the motorway police had tried to stop the related vehicle at a picket but the signal was disregarded. Following this, a complaint was disseminated on the wireless.
