Tasdeeq Pakistan App is available for schools to check background of teachers before hiring

In a bid to inspect teachers’ bona fides after rising incidents of corporal punishment in schools across Pakistan, singer Shehzad Roy announced the “Tasdeeq Pakistan” initiative to cross-check the background of teachers in Pakistani schools to ensure the safety of schoolchildren.

Teaching is one of the noteworthy professions around the world and teachers are best known for educating and building the personality of their students.

However, some teachers have been found guilty for disturbing the children’s psychology due to their mental and domestic issues and in a few cases, educators have also been charged with child abuse.

In a society like Pakistan, the initiative has been a splendid effort, as the schools keep no check and balance before hiring a teacher responsible for improving the children’s personalities and polishing them for a better future.

The initiative “Tasdeeq Pakistan” has been commenced with the collaboration of Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), Police, and Safe Pakistan Trust.

Shehzad Roy has urged the schools and other educational institutions in his post to check the credentials of teachers before giving the future of students in their hands.
