Tosha Khana Case: Imran Khan Disqualified, Strong Reaction of PTI

A 4-member bench headed by Chairman Election Commission of Pakistan Sikandar Sultan Raja has disqualified Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case. He said that all the members, including Chairman Election Commission Sikandar Sultan Raja, are ineligible. They have no authority to disqualify Imran Khan.

The Election Commission of Pakistan disqualified Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case. A 4-member bench headed by Chairman ECP Sikandar Sultan Raja has given the decision.

Chairman Election Commission of Pakistan Sikandar Sultan Rajan has disqualified Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case.

The decision delivered by a 4-member bench headed by Chairman ECP Sikandar Sultan Raja was reserved by the Election Commission on September 19 in the Tosha Khana case.

It should be remembered that Pervez Ashraf had sent a Tosha Khana reference to Election Commission against former Prime Minister Imran Khan in August, in which he would have requested his disqualification.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry gave a strong reaction to the Election Commission’s decision. He said that this constitution is an attack on Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the decision of the Election Commission is an attack on the constitution and law of Pakistan. There is an attack on national institutions. ECP has slapped the people in the face.

The former information minister said that all the members including Chairman Election Commission Sikandar Sultan Raja are ineligible. They have no authority to disqualify Imran Khan.

It should be noted that strict security arrangements have been made around the commission after the Election Commission officials called for fool-proof security before the decision.

In view of the possible protest of PTI workers, security has been deployed under the supervision of SSP, in which 1150 personnel including one SSP, 5 SPs, 6 DSPs have been deployed.
