The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar has now designated seats for transgender people after the elderly, women, and disabled.
Peshawar BRT Spokesperson Muhammad Umair said that two seats have been allotted in each bus for transgender people and urged the masses to avoid occupying the earmarked seats.
Earlier, the transport project announced separate seats for women and disabled passengers which was an exceptional initiative in the city.

The service also offers priority ticketing counters for women, elderly, and the disabled.
The buses provide wi-fi internet while the stations are equipped with free mobile charging points for the passengers.
The TransPeshawar was inaugurated in 2020 with dedicated lanes to reduce traffic congestion and improve the commute for citizens.
