Two Wazir women set example for serving flood victims

Two women from the Wazir tribe, Zartaj Gul and Quratul Ain have set an example for women for serving humanity amid flood disasters, making a contrast to many other female politicians and public servants.

Several parts of the country are witnessing disasters following torrential rains and devastating floods in all provinces, leaving over 1,000 dead and thousands displaced after their homes were swept away.

Women politicians are also among others who are taking part in rescue and relief operations. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zartaj Gul Wazir and Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning of Nowshera Quratul Ain Wazir were seen among the flood victims on various occasions, unlike several others who were not seen among the affectees despite making tall claims.
