Which New Language PTCL Plumped For Its Customer Support?

PTCL set forth ‘Balochi language’ for its customer support services via automated helpline 1218 on Baloch Culture Day

As March welcomed Baloch Culture Day, Pakistan Telecommuni­ca­tion Company Limited (PTCL) announced the inclusion of the ‘Balochi language’ for its customer support services via automated helpline 1218.

The press release of PTCL stated that this initiative was a testament to the company’s co­mm­itment to serving its customers in their local languages across the country.

The company took to the Twitter account to share the new measure.

The company’s customer support already operates in different languages including English, Urdu, Pashto, Sindhi, and now, Balochi has made it in the list too.

Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of PTCL and Ufone, Moqeem Ul Haque, said that PTCL, being a national company, is continuously striving to provide quality services to its customers across Pakistan.

The chief emphasized that the company believes in serving all communities and segments of our society.

The purpose of the introduction of a new language is to serve the local dialects across Pakistan.

However, last year in July, PTCL had launched ‘Sindhi’ language for its customer support service.
