Two recent videos circulating on the internet define prevalent misconduct in the Punjab police which the internet users have condemned without giving a second thought.
Punjab police have been infamous for its treatment of people and indulging in acts that are against the integrity of the force.
Journalist Samar Abbas tweeted a video, where a police officer was spotted shooting objects placed over both hands and head of his counterpart.
Abbas questioned the callous conduct of the Punjab police and asked the concerned authorities to take immediate action against it.

Moreover, another video circulating on social media by a Twitter user shows that a policeman from Khudian Khas police station thrashed a woman as she was apparently brought into the room.

A Twitter user tagged Punjab police’s official handle in the video and sought action against the policeman.
In response to it, the Punjab police responded that the suspect had been suspended and a departmental inquiry against him had been launched.
