Toor stressed upon the founder of Hum Network Sultana Siddiqui for compromising the screen for the people who have no knowledge about current affairs and who bluntly repost the news from other sources without giving any credits.

Shedding light on Shiffa’s background, Asad added that she had been unprofessional and have stated wrong facts about the son of Prime Minister Imran khan.
Moreover, Shiffa has used the news from a website without giving any credits to the author, and after the legal action was taken against anchorperson, she clarifed that the act was done mistakenly by the researcher.
The journalist questioned Sultana Appa for giving value to anchorpersons with beautiful faces with little knowledge about current affairs.
The journalist lamented that anchorperson Shiffa has been given value for having strong association with ministers and ISPR officials.
#BREAKING: Bombshell evidence unmasked #ShiffaYousafzai behind campaign of #PTI against me & women who don’t agree with her. WhatsApp message in PTI group she is not only twisting what I never mean but also urging her political party PTI trolls for attacking @ImaanZHazir & others pic.twitter.com/KkCqqK16jC

Soon after the tweet went viral, several media fellows and defended the host.
Pakistan Television (PTV) former anchorperson Tanzeela Mazhar wrote that Asad Toor tried to scandalized Shiffa Yousafzai as a woman with no character and unprofessional.
so @AsadAToor clearly tried to scandalise @Shiffa_ZY with ministers and army as women not as a journalist. I’m critical of credibility issues and I have a difference of opinion about hum TV morning show content sense. But Scandalising a woman is not acceptable. Not in any way .

In response to it, Asad Ali Toor wrote that he has no intentions to defame Shiffa, whereas he only quoted in the context of doing quality journalism over PR activities to secure her job and requested Tanzeela to avoid misguiding the masses.
I didn’t scandalise her at all, I just mention this in the context of rather then reading newspapers and doing quality journalism she is only busy in PR activities to secure her job. So kindly don’t draw wrong meaning out of what I said. Thank you! https://t.co/V1Nv3E8GCK

Moreover, journalist Mahwash Ajaz suggested Toor apologize.
Asad, stop lying & apologize. I have seen your video. It is disrespectful and below the belt. Be grateful she isn’t taking you to court with your allegations & doesn’t have Aurat March’s support to drag you everywhere.
Delete it & apologize. https://t.co/EQaS1NsuMP

Further, journalist-anchorperson Alina Shigri said hurling such allegations holds no significance if the channel itself has no objection keeping her.
She added that Asad’s point of view would be more valuable if the matter was taken to PEMRA.
Bhai @AsadAToor YouTube k bajaye PEMRA jatay tou samajh bhe ati, also if the channel has no issue w/ their employees or aired content phir tou baat he khatam. But hurling allegations from roaming around in Ministers’ cars to ISPR ka heli against someone was totally uncalled for!

Not the kind of stuff any of us would be comfortable listening to! You’re a competent, hardworking journalist, idk Shiffa personally & neither am I advocating for any “female” here but I know you, hope you’ll continue to put forth arguments without getting personal bro!
