Why Pro-Government Journalists Fear Assemblies Will Dissolve?
There are reports that internal affairs of the party are not going smooth while the emergence of Jahangir Tareen group has also created tension in the party

Nearly completing third year of governance, the PTI government has been opposed by some renowned pro-government journalists who have suddenly started to claim that current assemblies wouldn’t be able to complete their tenures.
The ruling PTI is under intense pressure these days owing to situation of the coronavirus pandemic in the country which induced unemployment and took inflation to a record high.
There are reports that the internal affairs of the party are not going smooth too while the emergence of Jahangir Tareen group has also created tension in the party.
In these circumstances, even the journalists who always speak in support of the ruling government, now seem to be moving away.

During an interview in the program of host Adil Shahzeb, leading journalist Irshad Bhatti claimed Prime Minister Imran Khan will be unable to complete his term due to bad governance.
Bhatti said the government can go before five years because they have a small majority in parliament.

He added that there might be grim chances for PTI to get votes from the Punjab side in the next elections.
In addition to it, journalist Mubasher Lucman wrote on social media said, “I have been informed the government is serious about bringing more curbs on the media”.

In a sudden change of atmosphere which is being deemed as alarming, the pro-government journalists, who have been staunch supporters of PTI, have started counting days of PTI government and assemblies.
