YouTuber Mints Donation Money Misusing Videos of Impoverished

In the Bhakkar district of Punjab, an awful revelation was made by several affected families against a YouTuber who minted donation money by illegitimately using their videos.

The Youtuber, Sibtain Olakh, was accused by several families of using their videos for the donation money and playing them a tiny chunk only in return.

One of the victims claimed that he visited the family to record a video of an appeal for aid.

The YouTuber then got around Rs 0.1 million donations but the family received only Rs 10,000.

“Sibtain promised to pay the remaining sum in a few days but never returned”, the victim complained.

One of the affectees, Razia Bibi, also informed News360 that she borrowed a loan for her daughter’s marriage in hopes of donations but Sibtain hoaxed her.

“He is not paying me the promised amount and rather threatening me”, Razia Bibi added.

Under the given circumstances, the victim’s 7-year-old child is pushed to work at a brick kiln as she has to pay off the loan.

Another sufferer Aziz Bibi informed that Sibtain filmed video of her dilapidated house and feeble condition. “I was given only Rs 2,000 out of the received aid”, she wept.

The sufferers of Bhakkar demanded the concerned authorities to take action against such YouTubers and social media influencers who are stabbing the poor in the back.
