Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court rejected the request of former Prime Minister and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan to appear in the court through video link and ordered him to appear in the banking court on February 28.
A two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court heard the appeal of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that Imran Khan has been given immunity so many times that he has applied for a medical check-up. If they do not appear at the next hearing, the law will take its course.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that Imran Khan is seeking an exemption from attendance at every hearing. This matter will take a new direction, but we don’t want to say anything yet.
