Lahore High Court grants bail of Imran Khan in 9 cases till March 27

A 2-member bench of Lahore High Court approved protective bail for 10 days in 6 cases and 8 days in three cases, court has granted protective guarantees in cases registered under provisions of terrorism and has stopped arrest till March 27

Lahore High Court granted bail in 9 cases of Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan and stopped him from arrest. Ex-Prime Minister has been granted bail for 10 days in 6 cases and 8 days in 3 cases.

Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan had filed applications for protective bail in 9 cases in the Lahore High Court, on which the court granted him relief and ordered not to arrest him till March 27.

A two-member bench comprising Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Justice Farooq Haider of the Lahore High Court heard the applications filed for bail in 9 cases of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Imran Khan’s lawyer told the court that 5 cases are registered in Islamabad and 3 cases in Lahore, Imran Khan wants to appear in the respective courts but we don’t have the details of some cases.

The Lahore High Court has granted protective guarantees to Imran Khan in the cases registered under the provisions of terrorism, and the Lahore High Court has stopped him from arresting him till March 27.

Protective bail has been granted till March 27 in 3 cases registered under terrorism provisions in Lahore, while protective bail has been granted till March 24 in 5 cases registered under terrorism provisions in Islamabad.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan said during the hearing that there are so many cases registered against me that I don’t understand anything, register 6 more cases, the century will be completed but it will be a non-cricketing century.

Earlier, Imran Khan arrived in Lahore High Court in the form of a convoy. He was ordered to appear in the High Court at 5:30, but he arrived at 6:30.
