The Lahore High Court has granted protective bail till March 27 in 5 cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan. Two, two and twelve cases have been registered against the former prime minister in Khanna and Ramna police stations.

A 2-member bench of the Lahore High Court has granted protective bail till March 27 in 5 cases filed in Islamabad against Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan personally appeared in the Lahore High Court. He said in front of the court that when I went to Islamabad, all the roads were closed, while tear gas was fired, people were lathi-charged, we had to return from Islamabad. This has never happened before.

The court issued orders to extend bail after Imran Khan’s lawyer submitted an affidavit. Justice Tariq Salim Shaikh said that you have to face the consequences of wrong affidavit, wrong affidavit can also be contempt of court.

After the court heard the arguments, the Lahore High Court granted Imran Khan’s protective bail in 5 cases of Islamabad and extended it till March 27. After the hearing, Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan left Lahore High Court for Zaman Park.
