Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and lifelong leader of Muslim League (N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on 27 July 2017. The then Army Chief was General (Rtd) Qamar Javed Bajwa and DGISI Lt General (Rtd) Naveed Mukhtar.
