PTI Digital Media Head has been abducted after IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s threatening press conference, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has strongly condemned Azhar Mashwani and demanded his immediate release. .
According to reports of various media channels, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media chief Azhar Mashwani has been arrested outside his house in Lahore on Thursday.
Sharing a message on the social media website Twitter, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan wrote that “Enough is enough! Police in Punjab and Islamabad are brazenly flouting laws to target Tehreek-e-Insaf. Azhar Mashwani this afternoon. was picked up from Lahore and where he was taken, is still unknown.

Imran Khan further wrote that “On March 18, Senator Shibli Faraz and Umar Sultan, who had permission to enter the court complex, were brutally tortured by the Islamabad Police. Hassan Niazi was picked up on bail and kept in jail.” A false case was brought against him.
Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf has written that “I am sending the photographs of the IGs of Punjab and Islamabad and all the officers involved in these criminal activities to international human rights organizations so that they can identify the characters working for the state and government. Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders and activists are involved in abducting, raiding their residences, beating them during detention and indiscriminately torturing them. Azhar Mashwani should be released immediately.”
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry wrote on his Twitter handle that “Azhar Mashwani has been abducted after the threatening conversation of IG Punjab, Azhar should be produced in court immediately and the charges should be brought to justice. Let me tell you in detail, if IG sir thinks that after killing and torturing Zul Shah, he will not be criticized, then he is living in a fool’s paradise.
