American multinational technology company Apple is going to pay one-time bonuses of as much as $1,000 to its employees next month for exceptional performance before and during covid-19.
The rare move of bonuses was put forward by Apple to appreciate the efforts of its employees for bringing the retail operations back on track amid pandemic.

The company will give out $1,000 for the retail staff hired before March 31 while the newcomers will get $500.
Apple also hired new staffers for the upcoming holiday season that will receive $200.
On the other hand, the payouts will also go to AppleCare and online sales staff too.
Amid covid-19, the Apple stores around the world were closed multiple times and the employees have managed to bring sales back after the lockdowns lifted.
On the other hand, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tim Cook raised concerns over the leaks to the press.
“This comes after a product launch in which most of the details of our announcements were also leaked to the press”, he added.
Cook said that the company has been trying hard to identify the leakage and maintained that they will not tolerate disclosure of information.
