Even after the situation of the pandemic situation has eased and more countries are stepping towards reopening, Facebook will let its employees choose if they still want to work from home (WFH).
Facebook employees can request the management for remote work or WFH from June 15. However, the social networking site wants workers to return to the office often to build team cooperation.
Facebook is aiming to reopen its offices across the US with 50% capacity by September after the mass vaccination is up and running. The tech giant may open all of its offices in the US for 100% capacity in October.

The social networking site employs over 60,000 people who had been working from home after the coronavirus pandemic broke out last year.
Notably, Facebook Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg also encourages remote work and he intends to make 50% of the company’s workforce availing the option in the next five to 10 years.
On Wednesday, he told his workers at the company that working remotely had provided him more thinking-room apart from helping him spend more time with family.
He added that the mode of work made him happier and more productive at work.
Before Facebook, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey also opened the option for employees to opt for WFH permanently.
