Netflix To Roll Out “Shuffle Play” in 2021

Netflix users have been spending galore time in picking up their favorite options resulting in much annoyance, however, the company has unriddled the problem and Netflix is all set to roll out its Shuffle Play feature officially in 2021.

The company has been widely testing the feature on connected TV platforms since preceding year.

The feature will be helpful for the viewers to decide what to watch next and can be a time-saving option with much less-annoyance.

COO and Chief Product Officer Netflix, Greg Peters, has maintained that sometimes the users are unable to decide what they want to watch and are unsure about their choices.

“It’s really working for us where our members can basically indicate to us that they just want to skip browsing entirely, click one button and we’ll pick a title for them just to instantly play”.

The test versions of the Shuffle Play feature is currently available on Netflix’s TV apps.

The new addition has left the users in bafflement, some are taking it as a useful addition while others are still in confusion.

The “Play Something/ Shuffle Play” offers shows or movies similar to those that the viewers have watched previously.

There is another option available besides the shuffle play that is “Play Something Else” to choose something different if the titles don’t interest the user.

To roll out the Shuffle Play feature is one of the many additions to Netflix by the company in an effort to get viewers hooked on the shows and movies.
