In an innovation towards smooth and uncomplicated use, WhatsApp announced to launch a new multi-device feature that will allow the users to bring the app into play on multiple devices even without an internet connection.
The independent portal for the news about WhatsApp, WABetaInfo, shared the news that the new feature will facilitate the users to access the app on multiple devices that too without internet.
“Mark Zuckerberg and Will Cathcart confirmed to WABetaInfo that multi-device is coming within two months”, the portal said.

The sources also added that users would be able to link up to 4 devices at a time while the multi-device feature will be released as a beta feature for both Android and iOS users.

The new update also allows users to migrate their chat history between iOS and Android devices.
The feature will be initially optional and the voice and video calls will work across the linked devices. However, users will not be able to call or message people with an outdated version.
WABetaInfo also informed that the quality and performance of the app may suffer for a limited time period.
Not only this, WhatsApp announced earlier that the disappearing messages function will be enhanced along with the ‘view once’ option soon.
