Kamran Khan’s Vlogs Trolled By Novice Journalists
Criticizing a person who has been the host of the prime time show for nearly past two decades seems unfair and gratuitous
Leading Pakistani journalist and anchor Kamran Khan has started shared video blogs (Vlogs) on his Twitter handle and a number of novice journalists came forward to troll him.
In his first vlog shared on March 10, the newsman congratulated Prime Minister Imran Khan for getting vote of confidence but pointed out shortcomings in his governance.
Kamran Khan suggested the premier hear echoing voices of masses in the country.

According to him, Prime Minister needs to bring a new team to Punjab.
In the video message, the senior journalist not only drew the attention of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the rising inflation in the country but also advised him to change the Principal Secretary Azam Khan.
The criticism that popped on the video was apparently non-constructive and a mere show of condemnation not related to what the journalist tried to convey.
The very next day, Kamran Khan posted another video and maintained that his previous video received a mixed response from cabinet members, political figures and others.
The journalist was of the view that Prime Minister Imran Khan tried to eradicate corruption in the country but the effort remained futile so far.

The vlogs shared by Kamran Khan garnered attention of several prominent personalities including his fraternity.
However, the comments made by a few novice journalists and media persons seemed derogatory for a person of his stature.
Anchorperson Abdullah Sultan addressed Kamran Khan and wrote that his editor played pointless background music.

Journalist Iffat Hasan Rizvi criticized the media man and maintained that Kamran Khan has tarnished his image during the past couple of years.

“There used to be times when journalists feel privileged to give beepers in his show”, she added.

On the other hand, Mubashir Zaidi came up with a jibe that PTI leaders shared more conversations with Kamran Khan than their leader.

Kamran Khan started his journalistic career in 1985 with Pakistan’s leading newspaper ‘Daily News’, an evening daily of Jang Group.
He served as the only reporter for Washington Post in the South Asian region.
Kamran Khan had also interviewed United States (US) President George W. Bush at the White House.
The media man also endured a murder attack during the darkest era of Pakistan but did not leave the field.
Criticizing a person who has been the host of the prime time show for nearly past two decades seems unfair and gratuitous.
Kamran Khan was always judged and criticized for being pro-Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI). However, in the videos, he picked holes in the governance of incumbent government.
On the other hand, most of the novice journalists who criticized Khan are either supporters of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) or Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) who apparently never resorted to find faults in those political parties.
