Telenor Self-Defense Camp Jeered Than Cheered
The cellular company organized a 3-day learning camp to train its employees about developing mental strength and learning self-defense
Amid the rising harassment cases in Pakistan, a multinational telecommunications company, Telenor, took the initiative of self-defense training for its employees but it was more jeered than cheered.
In the past few months, Pakistan witnessed a couple of shocking incidents of harassment, and many people believe that some places in the country are unsafe for women.
The case of Noor Mukadam from Islamabad and TikToker Ayesha Akram from Lahore took the internet by storm and women openly talked about their bad experiences, guiding others to be careful when stepping out of their homes.
