Sports Journalist Poured Unjust Scorn on Mahoor Shahzad

Mahoor Shahzad, a women’s singles badminton champion representing Pakistan at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, was slammed by journalist and sports anchor Shoaib Jatt after losing the game against Japanese opponent Akane Yamaguchi.

The women’s single-player clapped back on the criticism and asserted that she never found Shoaib Jatt posting anything positive regarding her.

Shoaib Jatt added that Mahoor shouldn’t focus on social media right now and he always wanted to see Pakistan as victorious.
The reply by him wasn’t received well by the sportswoman and she asserted that the journalist was pouring scorn on her for long.

The exchange of words between both grabbed attention of several sports enthusiasts who stood up in support of Mahoor Shahzad.
They were of the view that representing Pakistan in the Olympics is not an easy task and the girl is making the country proud with her performance.

On the other hand, Pakistani all-rounder cricket player Shadab Khan announced to set up a fund for Pakistan’s Olympic athletes in preparation for the next games.

Shadab also complimented Talha Talib, a 21-year-old weightlifter who remained 5th in the contest, despite all odds.
