Arjun Tendulkar, the son of India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, made history by making his debut in the Indian Premier League.
Arjun Tendulkar also won a unique honor by representing Mumbai Indians. He became the first player to represent his father’s team in the IPL.

Arjun made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, conceding 17 wickets in 2 overs.
With their debut in IPL, Arjun and Sachin Tendulkar became the first father and son to play in the Indian T20 League. Sachin Tendulkar played 78 matches representing Mumbai Indians between 2008 and 2013 and scored 2 thousand 334 runs, while He also served as a captain in 51 matches.

Sachin Tendulkar has released an emotional message to his son on the start of his career. He wrote in his tweet that “Arjun! Today you have taken another important step in your journey as a cricketer.
