Asia Cup Called Off But UAE to Host Remaining PSL
PCB confirmed that the UAE authorities have approved completing the remaining 20 PSL matches which will be held in Abu Dhabi

Recently, two major developments happened in the cricket world as the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League 6 (PSL) will be played in UAE but the Asia Cup has been postponed amid coronavirus pandemic.
Taking to their social media handle, the PSL official page disclosed the big news.

The officials added that an online meeting with six franchise owners will be conducted to sort out details of the matches keeping in mind all precautionary measures for staff and players.
PCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Wasim Khan said, “We are delighted with this development as the remaining hurdles in the staging of the remaining HBL PSL 6 matches in Abu Dhabi have been overcome and all systems are now good to go”.
In contrast to UAE approval for staging remaining PSL matches, Asia Cup T20 tournament due to be held in Sri Lanka in June has been postponed to stem the spread of the infection in the region.

Talking to the media, Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ashley de Silva said, “Due to the prevailing situation, it will not be possible to play the tournament in June this year”.
