FIFA has issued a warning to ban Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) after its invasion by a body that claims to have the real mandate.
PFF headquarters situated in Lahore was taken over by a group of officials headed by ex-PFF President Ashfaq Hussain Shah on Saturday.
Meanwhile, PFF Normalisation Committee, which was appointed by the global body, Chairman Haroon Malik said he had received a letter from FIFA after the latest fiasco.
The global football body warned that PFF’s membership could be suspended if the headquarter was not recovered from illegal occupants until 8pm on Wednesday.
The president of the invading group, Ashfaq Hussain Shah, said that the FIFA normalization committee could not handle the affairs effectively.

It had not organized elections even after remaining in power for 19 months.
Shah accused that the members of the FIFA-nominated committee were taking exorbitant salaries but doing nothing for the betterment of football.
However, the prominent sports journalists said that the matter would be diffused before FIFA’s deadline and both bodies would work jointly. The normalization committee would get some difficult tasks on its part.
The incident also forced the cancellation of the women’s football championship that kicked off early March in Karachi.
