The meeting of Prime Minister Imran Khan with the Pakistan cricket squad for the T20 World Cup is surely a confidence booster but the question of ‘is it enough’ remains prevalent.
Prime Minister Imran Khan met with the squad of the green shirts for the T20 World Cup starting next month in the UAE.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja was also part of the sitting apart from the government officials.

Although it is appreciable of the premier to boost the morale of the team which has faced setbacks in preparation for the mega event, the cricket fans say there is more that could be done than lecturing.

They said that Pakistan has missed playing the shortest format of the game with two top teams, New Zealand and England, which is a major blow to its preparation strategy.
They said that PCB should have worked for arranging a tour with any of the sides such as Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, or Afghanistan that could have come to the country on short notice.
The cricket fans said the real practice before the mega event would have been more beneficial for the team than receiving tips.
