Surprising millions of cricket lovers, Pakistan’s left-handed batsman Fawad Alam became the first Asian batsman to convert his first four test 50s into 100s and he has certainly answered injustice he faced over the years.

The star batsman, Alam, became the first Asian and sixth batsman overall to convert his first four Test 50s into 100s.

Taking to their Twitter handle, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) noted down Fawad’s achievement.

Alam, son of Pakistan’s famous first-class cricketer Tariq Alam, made his first-class debut at the age of 17.

He was selected to represent Pakistan at the U-19 World Cup and later remained among top scorers in several Quaid-e-Azam Trophy seasons.

Alam rejoined Pakistan’s test team after a gap of 88 tests and more than 10 years, which will be marked as the second-longest gap after Younis Ahmed’s 104 tests gap.

Previously, selection committees and head coaches showed skepticism in selecting Fawad which made him miss a decade of his career.

Moreover, cricket statistician Mazher Arshad sarcastically questioned all those who had cast doubts on Fawad Alam’s skills.

In addition to it, journalist Abdul Ghaffar also lamented how injustice had wasted so many years of the left-handed batsman.

Soon after his comeback to the national side, Fawad has been fortunate enough to excel in every project from scoring a crucial hundred in the first test match against South Africa at National Stadium Karachi to making his web-series debut in an upcoming Urduflix’s web series Khudkash Mohabbat.

The 35-year-old left-hander had smashed a debut hundred in Sri Lanka in 2009 but was discarded after only two more Tests.
