Hasan Ali censures reporter for daring to ask question during PSL 7 draft event

Hasan Ali said, “First, you should write ‘good things’ on Twitter, then we will definitely give you an answer. You shouldn’t get personal.”

Islamabad United (IU) Pacer Hasan Ali has lost his temper at Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7 players’ draft event and stopped a reporter from asking any question from him.

The Islamabad United (IU) pacer Hasan Ali was addressing a press conference during the event of PSL 7 players’ draft when a journalist reportedly named Anas Saeed tried to ask him a question but Ali immediately interrupted and stopped him.

In a blunt response, Hasan said, “Next question, please. I don’t want to give you an answer.” The journalist argued that he should listen to his question first before deciding on whether to give an answer or not.

The reporter repeatedly asked that it was inappropriate to avoid his questions during a press conference. He replied, “First, you should write ‘good things’ on Twitter, then we will definitely give you an answer. You shouldn’t get personal.”

The reporter then asked him that he did not launch any personal attack against him. “If PCB [Pakistan Cricket Board) cannot stop you, then we have the right to do it here.” The IU officials sitting next to Hasan Ali tried to calm him down.

Giving reactions to Hasan Ali’s harsh response, the journalists expressed sorrow over the misbehaviour of the pacer.

Usman Butt said, “This is real Hassan Ali from inside, very sad to see this childish behaviour of Hassan Ali with senior sports journalist. I hope Hassan will apologise and make sure this mess will not happen again to show sportsmanship.”

Shoaib Jatt reacted, “It shouldn’t…….. Journalists criticise for the betterment …..”

Hasan Ali has been retained by Islamabad United (IU) under the platinum category for the PSL franchise.
