In 10th match of Mega event HBL PSL 8, Lahore Qalandars outclassed Quetta Gladiators by 63 runs.
In the match played at the National Bank Cricket Arena Karachi, Quetta captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s decision to win the toss and invite Lahore Qalandars to play first proved to be wrong.
The batsmen of Lahore Qalandars took the brunt of the Gladiators’ bowlers and set a total of 198 runs for the loss of wickets in the allotted 20 overs, giving Quetta a tough target of 199 runs to win.

Shai Hope 47, Sikandar Raza 32 and Mirza Tahir Baig 31 were the prominent batsmen from Lahore Qalandars. Quetta Gladiators Qais Ahmed and Odin Smith dismissed two players each.

In response, the Quetta team could score 135 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted overs. Jason Roy scored 48 runs and Muhammad Hafeez scored 25 runs. Shaheen Afridi and David Vizey dismissed 3, 3 players from Lahore. Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi was named the best player of the match.
