HBL PSL 8: Peshawar Zalmi defeats Quetta Gladiators by 4 wickets
Gladiators scored 154 runs for 4 wickets while playing first, Zalmis chased target for loss of 6 wickets in 19th over, Jimmy Neesham was declared best player
The sensational matches of HBL PSL 8 are going on. In the 9th match of the event, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Quetta Gladiators by 4 wickets.
In the match played at Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and invited Quetta to bat and Quetta scored 154 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted overs.
On behalf of Quetta, Iftikhar Ahmed 50, Sarfaraz Ahmed 39 and Odin Smith scored 25 runs. On behalf of Peshawar, Usman Qadir got 2 wickets and Jimmy Neesham got one wicket.
In response, Peshawar achieved the target in 18.3 overs at the loss of 6 wickets. Peshawar’s Romaine Powell scored 36 runs and Jimmy Neesham scored 37 runs. On behalf of Quetta, Muhammad Hasnain took 3 wickets, Naseem Shah, Muhammad Nawaz and Qais Ahmed took one wicket each.
