Who is Sajid Khan & How He Got Test Cap No. 244?
Sajid Khan was declared as the best player of the tournament in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2020-21

The right-arm offbreak bowler Sajid Khan got test cap no 244 in the first test of the two-match series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
Born on September 3, 1993, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sajid Khan started his first-class career by playing for Peshawar in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on October 22, 2016.
Khan also participated in the Peshawar Regional ODI Cup.
Sajid Khan was declared the best player of the tournament in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2020-21.
The all-rounder was also a part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) squad for the Pakistan Cup.
The turning point came when he was included in the test squad for the series against South Africa in January 2021.

Later in March 2021, Sajid Khan was again named in the test squad against Zimbabwe and he was rewarded with test cap No 244 on April 29, 2021.
On the occasion, the bowler said, “It is a great pleasure for me that I am representing Pakistan in Test cricket. I have been working diligently for more than 16 years and I have worked hard from U-16 to this position and now Allah Almighty has rewarded me”.
Khan’s bowling records say that he has bowled 6,937 balls in 61 innings of 35 first-class matches so far and has taken 141 wickets at an average of 25.29 for 3,566 runs.
Among his best performance includes 35-6 while his best bowling in the match is 157-10. His economy rate is just 3.08 while the strike rate is 49.10.
Previously, the bowling all-rounder has eight five-wicket hauls and a 10-wicket haul. In List-A career, he has taken 6 wickets in 7 T20 matches.
