Are Sources of Journalists Credible Than Personal Claims?
Twitter witnessed the fight between Cricketer Fawad and Journalist Shoaib Jatt, who questioned him for credible sources for covid-19 results

After the Pakistan Super League (PSL) postponed due to an increase in coronavirus cases among the players, sports journalists are trying to prove which player has been tested positive using their credible sources.
Recently, Sports Journalist Shoaib Jatt took to his Twitter handle and announced that Pakistani Australian Cricketer, Fawad Ahmed, was tested covid-19 positive.

In response to it, Fawad questioned the journalist for spreading fake news.
Why ya lying 🤥 for? 🤦🏻♂️😑
— Fawad Ahmed (@bachaji23) March 9, 2021
Shoaib seconded his tweet and wrote that the sources in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had confirmed the information and wished the player a speedy recovery.
Dear I’m standing with my news, as per my source of PCB you are still positive in covid Test,
Get well soon dear brother. Jazak’Allah https://t.co/t6PLmvb2zn— Shoaib Jatt (@Shoaib_Jatt) March 9, 2021
While replying to Jatt, the 39-year cricketer questioned the source from the journalist and added that his first test returned negative while he was awaiting result of second.
Ahmed also suggested the journalist change his sources and find more credible ones.
I dunno what kinda PCB u in contact with?? As per my test report I got negative results yesterday and waiting for another test result, u should change ur sources ASAP 🤦🏻♂️😑, Pata nahi konsay Khuda ke saamnay sir jhukaya ha, Jhoot pa Jhoot 🤥😪

Shoaib heated the argument by adding that he was quite certain about his sources and welcomed him to his ‘source club’.
I have firm belief in my source . I pray for your speedy recovery, thanks for the advise but I welcome you in my source club , wish you all the best.

While an ongoing dispute on Twitter between sports journalists and cricketer continued, Australian Journalist Dennis Freedman jumped in and trolled professionalism being practiced by Shoaib Jatt.
Here’s Shoaib Jutt displaying professionalism at the highest levels —–
Jutt: Fawad Ahmed tests positive
Fawad: No mate. I have the test result in my hand. You’re wrong
Jutt: No Fawad. You’re wrong. My sources are better than your doctor pic.twitter.com/GMy82qXtUx

Freedman questioned Jatt whether he has officially spoken to Fawad.
Have you actually spoken to Fawad himself? His latest test was negative.
Irrespective, he’s not flying anywhere soon. He doesn’t even have strength to go to bathroom. He’s lost 4kg in 10 days.
Unless your “source club” is Fawad and his doctor, you’re guessing. https://t.co/PzQSdo9ECb
