ICC T20 Ranking: Muhammad Rizwan second and Babar Azam on third position

India's Surya Kumar tops with 906 points, Mohammad Rizwan's 811 and captain Babar Azam's 755 points, Rizwan and Babar have a chance to improve their position in series against Kiwis

International Cricket Council (ICC) released T20 player rankings. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan moved closer to world number one batsman Suriya Kumar Yadav.

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam will get a chance to improve their points in the five-match series against New Zealand.

India’s Surya Kumar Yadav is in the first position with 906 rating points, while Mohammad Rizwan is in the second position with 811 points, followed by Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam at the third position with 755 points.

On the other hand, no Pakistani bowler could make a place in the top five in the ranking of T20 bowlers. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Fazal Haq Farooqui are on the first and second positions, while Australia’s Josh Hazlewood came on the third position.

Sri Lankan spinner Wanundu Hasaranga has dropped two places to the fourth position. Sri Lanka’s Mahesh Thikeshana is at the fifth position and Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan remains at the top spot among all-rounders.
