Prominent sports journalists of Pakistan have mixed opinions on selection of Azam Khan, son of ex-captain of national cricket team Moin Khan, and his antogonits are trying to build that he is just a ‘parchi’.
The 21-year-old batsman has been selected in Pakistan’s T20 squad for England and West Indies tours despite several fingers were pointed at his fitness.
Sports journalist Yahya Hussaini raised the topic of Azam Khan’s selection and posted the batsman’s photo that he had posted in April.
Check the level of our cricket. In April @MAzamKhan45 wrote about his impatience to play for the @TheRealPCB . Even great players never wrote so on being dropped from the team. Wondering on what performance Chief selector @MuhammadWasim77 has inducted him in the team. pic.twitter.com/NhfPTad0qq

Further, Geo News sports correspondent Sohail Imran expressed that a young cricketer should not be criticized just because of his link with any former cricketer.
Aalia Rasheed endorsed this and responded that a person should not be blamed if his relative turns out talented.
Iss main kisi rishadaar ka bhee qasoor nahi agar uska bhateeja/ bhanjaa talented nikal aaiey tu! 🤷♀️🤷♀️ https://t.co/taxRdDcT5h
