Mahoor Shahzad Fully-Funded Scholarship

Pakistani badminton player Mahoor Shahzad shared her outstanding result in the University of London examinations with her fans.

The female player, who was in the contingent for Tokyo Olympics 2020, said that she passed her exams with flying colors although it was very tough for her to manage her studies and the preparations for the event.

“The exam was conducted on 21 June after my selection in Olympics. It was tough to manage both studies and preparation for Olympics”, she expressed.

Mahoor maintained that she feels excited about the result and said, “I am glad that I did well in paper and got a fruitful result”.

The female badminton player was the women’s single champion at the 2017 Pakistan International tournament and represented the country in Tokyo 2020.

After losing against Britain’s Kirsty and Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi, Mahoor made a video post and claimed that she is being mocked by other badminton players in Pakistan as they were unable to make it to the Olympics and she is the best who is representing the country in the event.

Mahoor, after her statement, landed in the soup and was trolled on social media by the followers.
