Cricket is full of surprises and jovial personalities make it more interesting. Similar is the case with young pace sensation Shahnawaz Dahani is yet to make his international debut but he has already grabbed much attention with his PSL heroics and how distinguished he is from others despite hailing from a remote area.
Dahani has come from a small village near Larkana, the hometown of the first female Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. However, the place is usually not known for producing athletes but politicians.
But 22-year-old pacer dismissed that theory and made his Pakistan Super League (PSL) debut in the sixth edition for Multan Sultans.

After PSL heroics of taking 9 wickets in just 4 matches he played in the tournament, the right-arm-bowler returned to his native town where he was heartily welcomed being the first from the small town who rose to fame as an athlete.
During his visit, the fast bowler went on an evening walk with his cousin to get some fresh air. Standing amid palm trees, his cousin shared that Dahani had climbed all of them.
And to everyone’s surprise, the young athlete said he could still do it.

This is presumably another skill that Dahani has besides his bowling talent that had impressed cricketer-turned-commentator Ramiz Raja and many others.
The athlete has established his identity as a jolly youth who is dedicated and passionately committed to the sport.
The cricket fans gauge Dahani’s personality as ‘a bit unusual’ keeping in view the fact that despite belonging to a remote area of Sindh province, he is unlike others.
Not many people know that the pacer has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree too.
He traveled with Pakistan’s national side in South Africa-Zimbabwe tour but he is yet to make his international debut.
