Pakistan Aims ODI Series Win Against Proteas After 7 Years
South Africa will be required to revise their batting line with two changes and an entirely new pace attack as five key players left for IPL
Pakistan will try its luck in the third One-Day International (ODI) against a fresh Proteas team today to win the series after 7 years.
The last time Pakistan registered ODI-series win in South Africa was in 2013 under the captaincy of now-head-coach Misbah-ul-Haq.
Interestingly, Proteas lost an ODI-series decider in 2015 in Bangladesh and the fans of team Pakistan hope this streak can be broken today.
According to experts, Pakistan has a fair chance of booking the series as five key players of South Africa including Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, and Lungi Ngidi have left the team to play Indian Premier League (IPL).
