Pakistan Sends Strong Message to India Before World Cup
Pakistani fans hope that the side would be able to break the jinx associated with India in the ICC tournaments
The change in the format came with a makeover for the Pakistan team as it beat host England by 31 runs in the first T20I at Trent Bridge on Friday besides scoring its highest team score in the shortest format.
Yesterday, ICC also disclosed placements for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and Pakistan and India have been put in the same group.

The men in green registered their highest T20I score of 232 runs. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan remained the highest scorers for visitors as they put tighter a partnership of 150 runs on the first wicket.
Followed by them, the remaining batsmen were also able to send the ball out of the field to lead the team to register its record total in the 20-over format.
In reply, England was booked for 201 runs with Liam Livingstone scoring a ton while Shaheen Afridi and Shadab Khan took 3 wickets each.
The commanding victory in the first game against England rejoiced Pakistani fans and it has raised their hopes that their team would be able to break the jinx associated with India in ICC tournaments.
