The victory has been acknowledged and praised by a number of prominent personalities including cricketers Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar.

It has to be noted here, while the government and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) converged at each other on Kashmir Day, Pakistani Wolverine Ahmed Mujtaba in a fight with Indian Rahul Raju knocked out his opponent brilliantly.
