Pakistan’s Hammad Hadi wins World Scrabble Championship 2023
The World Scrabble Championship (WESPAC 2023) enters the final stages at Las Vegas, USA with the conclusion of Diamonds and Open categories
Pakistan’s Hammad Hadi Khan stunned the world with his masterful command on words and expert strategy by winning the Diamonds category. Hammad won 21 games out of 24 with a spread of 1854
Hammad’s dominance was so pronounced that he was declared a winner with three games to go.
This is the third international title for Hammad Hadi. He has previously won the Princess Cup in Thailand 2017 and the open division of World Scrabble Championship in England 2018.
Two Pakistanis played the Open Category. Pakistan’s Mr. M. Inayatullah finished 3rd and Sir Tariq Pervez finished 7th.
More than 200 of world’s top players including several former world champions also Participated in this Championship
