Ali’s first two throws weren’t impressive and almost cost him a place in the event.
While struggling with the rain and puddles, the athlete nailed his third throw with an attempt of 55.26 meters that was three meters longer than second place.
Earlier, the athlete won bronze and silver in the long jump at Rio and Beijing Paralympics.
