The preparation of Pakistan cricket team for the T20 World Cup has reached another level as Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan has resigned after coaches.

Sources said that Wasim Khan wasn’t happy over the curtailment of powers.

Besides this, there are chances that there will be changes in the world cup squad at the eleventh hour.

Sohail Imran, the sports correspondent for Geo Tv, broke the news. Chief selector Muhammad Wasim is likely to meet some players to explain their exclusion, the reporter said.

The decision is being taken on the instruction of PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja who has been pushed by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Before this, the PCB chairman announced the names of Mathew Hayden and Vernon Philander as the head coach and bowling coach of the national side respectively for the mega event.
