PSL 6 Postponed as Players, Staff Contract Coronavirus
As confirmed by PCB, three more players from two separate teams were tested coronavirus positive and sent under 10 days isolation

Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6, after exhilarating the nation with 14 back-to-back gripping and nail-biting matches, has landed in hot waters as three more players tested positive for coronavirus owing to which the tournament has been postponed.
As per reports, PSL 6, after getting clobbered by the prowling coronavirus, has been postponed indefinitely.
As confirmed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), three more PSL-6 players from two different teams were infected with coronavirus and sent under 10 days of isolation.
“The three players were not part of the sides that featured in Wednesday’s PSL 2021’s double-header, and had been tested in the afternoon after showing symptoms”, PCB maintained.
The infected players were not part of the teams that played the match on Wednesday as they had shown symptoms.
PCB has not revealed the names of the three new cases but speculations have been surfaced for the names including Islamabad United all-rounder Lewis Gregory, Quetta Gladiators batsman Tom Banton, and Kamran Khan, who is the fielding coach of Karachi Kings.

On the other hand, the 14th match and probably the last of PSL 6 played between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans yesterday finally smashed the chasing streak linked with the current season.
In a bizarre coincidence, prior to the 14th match, all 13 matches were won by the chasing teams, however, Multan Sultans was unsuccessful in chasing the target in the given overs.
Down on its luck, the Gladiators were winless in the first four games of the season but luckily managed to break infamous jinx and bagged victory last night.
